My friends and I often get together and vent our frustrations about online dating. I've heard a lot of stories about catfishing dates. The ones that didn't show up, the crazy ones, the uninteresting ones, the mouthy ones. Oh yes, and one who just said "yes" all night.

How I learned the hard way not to reply to every message
I'll start by saying. The first day on a free dating site. I was overwhelmed by all the random people gawking at me and messaging me. Maybe some girls would be flattered by the attention. But I felt very uncomfortable. I wasn't interested in 80% of them, but I thought it was rude to ignore their messages.
So I started giving polite and short answers to possible suitors. Then explain that I won't go further with them.
